Brunch Like A Boss This Fall: Tips & Recipes

Brunch Like A Boss This Fall: Tips & Recipes

The days are getting shorter, evenings are cooler and the start of official bath season is upon us ( which is like Christmas to us!). Before we know it, the leaves will start changing colours and the smell on pumpkin spice will surround us.

Miss all the social activities of summer in the sun? Bring the party inside and gather your friends for a brunch that will have them wondering when you turned into Martha Stewart.

TOP 5 TIPS

1. TAKE YOUR TIME TO COME UP WITH A MENU FOR YOUR BRUNCH PARTY

Key to this is planning! Don't start menu planning the day before- give it some genuine thought and time. It'll pay off in the end with a beautifully curated spread.

2. DON’T FORGET TO SET UP A COFFEE STATION

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee. Yes, we love our bubbly- but what morning is complete without those brewed beans. Perhaps include a couple different blends along with some cinnamon- not only is it a fall flavour, it gives coffee a nice little kick.

3. GIVE YOUR BRUNCH A PARTY FEEL WITH SOME COCKTAILS OR MOCKTAILS

Now, this is what we think about when we think brunch! Check out the fall inspired mimosas we curated below.

4. SET OUT FINGER FOODS AND BRUNCH CANAPES SO YOU HAVE TIME TO FINISH UP YOUR MAIN DISH

There is nothing worse then having company arrive and you're fretting about rushing to finish the food. By having little bites already out to allow friends to snack while they make their coffee is the perfect buffer.

5. DON’T SHY AWAY FROM BEAUTIFUL BRUNCH TABLEWARE

Sure, the Queen isn't coming over but that does not mean you can bring out the fancy dishes. Let your friends feel like they are being treated like royals with thoughtful touches in your place settings and table decor.

Mimosas, Yes Please!
