1. Size matters...

Our bath bombs are three inches in diameter and 30% larger than those currently on the market. The reason for the size of our bath bombs is to provide a decadent bathing experience and ensure you receive the right balance of salt to water ratio. If you buy anything smaller, it is just money down the drain.

2. Butter Bases Are Best

Each of our bombs uses  different butter base including cocoa, shea, mango and avocado. We use these rich butters that are hydrating and packed with vitamins and nutrients.

Pomelo Grove is made with mango butter. While mango butter shares many of the same uses as shea and cocoa, its fatty acid profile differs slightly, and it has a greater level of vitamins and antioxidants. Its rich nutrients include vitamin A, vitamin C to name a couple and is effective for healing and improving the appearance of your skin and hair.

Avocado butter can be found in a couple of our bombs including J'adore Matcha. Avocado butter contains the antioxidant vitamins A, E and D that kill off the free radicals that age your skin. Another tip on avocados, they act as humectants, drawing water into the skin for a plump appearance, diminished fine lines and wrinkles, and major moisture.

3. Seize The Clay!

Part of what makes our bath bombs so rich and decadent is the clay we incorporate: kaolin clay. Kaolin is a naturally occurring clay mineral that detoxifies and acts like a body mask and pulls free the radicals from your skin. Kaolin clay is used in all our bombs including Snooze.

Kaolin clay is one of the gentlest clays and suitable for all skin types, but it’s best for sensitive skin. It is gentle and it has good absorption, but just enough to eliminate the excess oils and not over-dry the skin.

An ingredient we adore implementing in our bomb recipes is the luscious coconut milk. It is a key ingredients in bath bombs such as Mama's Perch, by creating a creamy foaming lather - taking your bath experience to the next level of luxury.

4. Global Essential Oils

All of the essential oils used in our bombs (and all products) are phthalate free and ethically sourced from around the world. Each bombs is created with a special blend of oils that are targeted for end user, meaning they offer aromatherapy, skin and pigment benefits.

Bergamot and patchouli oil, which can both be found in Snooze Bombs, are paired together for their relaxation properties. These oils have been found to promote sleep, and act as a stress-reducing aid along with their aromatic pleasure.

J’adore Matcha may get it stunning green colour from the matcha but the peppermint oil is what will aid to calm your body. Peppermint oil is known to calm the mind and take the edge off of anxiety- adding that to a relaxing bath and you’re set. The aroma of peppermint has also been known to impact cognitive functions, attention span, memory, and reasoning.   

5. Foam Party In Your Tub

No, we are not talking about epic foam experience- rather our bombs create a creaming foaming solution in the water enabling a decadent experience all while softening the skin. The combination of citric acid and bicarbonate combined with SLSA (not to be confused with SLS) is the magic formula behind the cappuccino-esque foaming layer. 

Citric acid is used to help loosen damaged layers of skin- in turn allowing younger smoother skin in its place and commonly found in anti-aging skincare products. The antioxidants found in citric acid also helps repair skin, and fortify blood vessels. 

6. Win/Win - sharing the fortune

We believe in being an active member in our community and take every opportunity we get to give back in meaningful ways. Every year we host Main Street Day, where a portion of all our proceeds is donated towards Main Street Community Services. Our relationship with this organization is a year long one as a portion of every bath bomb purchased is donated to their efforts in keeping the lives of those with mental disabilities bright and engaging. A little goes a long way!
