We all know the sayings, ‘it goes together like peas & carrots or peanut butter & jam’. We are under the belief that the best example is when something goes together ‘like bubble bath & wine’. We have paired the top wine to suit your bath personality and will have you wanting to stay in, draw that bath and pour the wine instead of going out tonight.
What better pairing to relax the mind and body then a perfectly tempered bath with alluring aromas and skin softening properties and a glass of vino.. Or two.
1. Snooze Bomb & 2014 Michel Tete Domaine du Clos du Fief Saint-Amour 'Les Capitans'
This Beaujolais’s gamey grape will touch your nose along with the lavender and bergamot in our Snooze Bomb. If you’re unsure of what we mean by that, just get on board, get into the water as we are confident that it is a winning combination that needs to be experienced.
2. Mama’s Perch & 2015 Cambria Winery Santa Maria Valley Rosé of Pinot Noir
Could we pair anything else with a rose other then a bath bomb with rose essential oils and rose petals? This rose is of the peachy-pink hued varietal from Cambria Winery and has notes of strawberry and cranberry that make it perfect for sipping while soaking with Mama's Perch.
3. BePure, Ancient Oat & 2013 Rotari Rosé Sparkling Wine
Bubbles in your tub, bubbles in your glass- need we say more? While some only associate sparkling wine with special occasion, we think a relaxing bath at the end of long day is well worth the celebration to enjoy some bubbly. Paired with BePure elixir and Ancient Oat Hydration Crush to keep the scent subtle to enjoy the bubbly and focus on the sensation as opposed to smell.
4. Rosemary Citrus & 2015 WALT Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
This wine from WALT has aromas of toasted hazelnuts, white flowers, lemon verbena, and peach. While your palate will be tasting lemon curd and stone fruit, your body will be absorbing the lemon oil, grapefruit oil and mango seed butter of Rosemary Citrus Emulsion Crush soak.
There are many other options when pairing your bath product selections and drinks, but keep in mind that the nose does a play a big role in your taste buds, therefore the wine’s aromas must compliment the bath ingredients.
Keep in mind, if you’re opting for white, rose or bubbly, you may want to chill the glasses first, and keep the bottle chilled in an iced bucket by the tub. During all your relaxing the last thing you want to worry about is steam from your bath affecting your sipping experience.
